HPM contracts with local lawn care companies to provide lawn care for our property owners. Lawn care consists of mowing and also basic edging.

We direct the lawn care company to mow as little as possible, the general rule is every ten days as needed to help keep costs down. We want the grass mowed in just enough time to keep the tenants, neighbors and the City happy. Extended periods of rain over several days may speed up the times in between mows to weekly due to temporary expediated grass growth.

We base mowing charges on the lot size of the property:

Mowing & Edging Small (under 1/2 acre): $40 per mow

Mowing & Edging Medium (1/2 to 1 acre): $55 per mow

Mowing & Edging Large (over 1 acre): $55 + $30 per additional acre per mow

Mowing is billed monthly and paid out of the property owner's rent proceeds showing up on the monthly property owner statement.
